Vacation Clubs

Vacation clubs

There are also Vacation Clubs. These are set up where you can have the opportunity to vacation at ANY resort within the family of resorts offered by the parent company. Generally there are levels of ownership that will afford different levels of opportunity, such as places you can stay, level of suite you can stay in, etc.

Many of the major international hotel chains such as Hilton, Accor and Marriott have introduced their own Vacation Ownership Programs which are based on point systems. The share of membership is sold is either deeded or with right to use the club’s services for a certain number of years. Disney is probably one of the most popular for families with children because many of the include activities for family people of varying ages.

There are also Vacation Clubs that may own units in multiple resorts in different locations. Some clubs consist only of individual weeks at other developer’s resorts. Vacation clubs cater to a wide range of economic backgrounds and income levels.

Now, its important to take a look at timeshares vs. vacation clubs, literally there is very little difference and many developers try to pass there timeshare off as a club for the sake of profit. This is clearly misrepresentation, and if you catch someone in ONE lie, then I would discredit everything they say and run, don’t walk, outta there faster than you can say Jimminee Cricket. Test a sales persons morals by asking what rules you can break, r they will brea for you if you were to buy.

If they are willing t say they would break rules, laws, etc. to sell to you, then, there morals are breached they are not to be trusted with your deal no matter how bad you want to buy. Usually, given a short time, in looking back you will find that timeshare you so badly wanted (for whatever reason) goes un-missed, and maybe even an air of gratitude that you didn’t waste your time and money on it will pass by you.

The best investment is in your childrens college education. You’d be far beter off putting your money into a tax-free college education fund that grows for 18 years till there ready to use it, than a profit-less waste of a vacation that a timeshare offers you.
